A member of the Barreau du Québec since 1984, Sylvain graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Sylvain was a partner at Trudel Nadeau Lesage.

Sylvain works primarily in labour law, representing labour unions, associations and individuals. He has also developed expertise in the area of grievance arbitration and in lawsuits related to all types of employment terminations, and in collective labour relations and individual employment agreements.

He also acts as a speaker with a variety of labour unions and offers training sessions on grievance arbitration, collective labour relations and the duty of fair representation.
